#Ad Proud Mom Moment! I’ve watched my son William be so responsible this summer financially. I wasn’t sure how it would go, but I’ll tell you what - I couldn’t be prouder!

This summer we partnered with @AmericanExpress and added William as an Additional Card Member. I wanted to see how he would do and with this card I’m able to track and monitor his spending by setting up text/email notifications. At 13 years old I can tell you this - I wasn’t this responsible! I was buying clothing and trinkets and anything and everything with the money I had! William was different, he was really smart and made sure every dollar spent went to something important.

I know all my kids won’t be the same way (sorry kids!), so this taught me up close and personal how important it is to discuss financial responsibility with my kids. It’s never too early to start the conversation!
