For infant loss awareness day I’m giving a shout out to my mom even though she’s not on here. I just want to share how thankful I am for modern medicine and technology. Back in 1989 they really didn’t test for GBS. My mom was pregnant with my brother. She was a carrier. She went into labor at 35 weeks and it passed to him in the birth canal. He lived 4 days. To see your child hooked up to tubes for the only days they live is heartbreaking. They took him off life support and he passed. I can’t imagine that pain for her and all the other mamas who have lost their angels.
