Don't rub oil or anything on it. If he spits up, don't wipe, just tap the rag on his face, otherwise it could irritate it worse. Sorry for babbling but I hope this helps.

Aww poor baby, I use the Aveeno head to toe. The one that has oats extract, I washed my baby with it and the next day it started drying up. I waited until the 3rd day to apply Aveeno baby lotion to it, as I want it to close the pores before putting anything on it.

Yes! I always use CeraVe lotion. All my babes got bad but its short lived :)

My little had it pretty bad like that when he was around 3w, I suggest keeping him moisturized with baby lotion, especially after baths. The Johnson's lotion (in the pink bottle) worked well for mine.
