So my little hungry Horis had 7 7oz bottles yesterday... how many bottles a day is normal? Surely…

He obviously loves his milk which is not a bad thing. If you feel he is feeding a lot then contact your HV. The only reason I’m suggesting that is, when I had Sophia she actually said to me, if she was starting to feed a lot and never hungry then to contact her before changing milk and she didn’t believe in hungry baby milk. Her and another HV done a bit of research on hungry baby milk and they felt it was just a money maker, she said there are other options to consider. She also made a point of years ago there was no hungry baby milk and parents cope perfectly with hungry babies without the milk, BUT saying this that was my own HV and that was 5 years ago so things have changed so much since then. That was advice she gave to her patients and I’m not saying don’t give him it , if just speak to her and see if they can advise you if it’s the right thing to do if that makes sense 😊xxx

3 month growth spurt? They tend to drink more milk so could be that. We tried our first daughter on hungry baby milk after lots of milk didnt satisfy her but she ended up with bad constipation so we went back to normal and just gave her what she wanted etc x

I'm not sure if it's a lot or not. Thinking of getting in contact with her anyway as he's started fussing quite a bit and he has a bit of a rash on his cheeks.

Nope thats normal..... when growing they drink more to aid in their growth x

@winterbaby95 He had 6 of them tonight. I was a bit on edge that I was maybe over feeding him as I keep getting comments about what a chunk he is and asking if he's on solids already 😳

I did think that but wasn't 100% sure as I thought he was maybe too young. He's been drooling loads has a wee red rash on his cheeks and keeps sucking/chomping on his hands and fingers xx

@winterbaby95 He's 16Ilb 4oz which I don't think is that bad 0.o he's a healthy chunky.
