Little update:
Our special little soldier is out of surgery and back in his room. Today were surgeries number 11 & 12.
Couldn’t be prouder not even a peep out of him for his IV when he was prepped to go into the OR, but fussed a little when he realized it was go time. I was able gown up and carry my wee man into the OR and sit with him till he was asleep, and it was easier to say “See you soon” this time around. Usually his surgeries are done at children’s but today being at our local hospital and my place of work I was able to stay with him till the last moment.
It’s so hard to walk away when they explain to you the risks of sedating such a high risk case, no matter how many times you’ve been told them. No matter how many times you’ve walked that road.
Thanks to everyone who sent their prayers today for our little JJ ❤️ Darrell and I couldn’t have been happier to see his sweet baby blues when he woke up asking for his big brother and sister.
