36 weeks! I’ll be 37 on Monday 💜 I literally remember being a POS addict (peeing on a stick) and thinking I could never get pregnant again. I was shocked to see that positive when I did. For four years we tried to get pregnant again and it still doesn’t seem real some days. I am enjoying everyday being pregnant and I can’t wait to hold her in my arms. I can’t wait to smell her and stare at her. I am ready for the sleepless nights (maybe, ask me a week after she’s born if I still feel that way lol) and ready to make sure she feels worthy and can accomplish anything. I just can’t wait. @royaldutchess123, well, I switched doctors because the one I had just kept wanting me to be put on birth control and I knew it was something else. I would bleed up to 14 days each cycle. My cycles were normal and I was ovulating just not getting pregnant. We lost our little boy in 2014 and I had a D&C done. Because of that my new doctor finally did an ultrasound and found out I had Osseous Metaplasia, a very rare occurrence that happens. Pretty much bone was growing in my uterine cavity and blocking any swimmers coming through. After the procedure was done to remove it in December I tested positive in February.

Congratulations!! 4 years is a long time, we tried for 2.5 years and finally got our bfp on the 6th March. People complain about their pregnancies and I just sit here and think I’m loving all the aches and pains our son is causing because I know how long and how many heartaches it took us to get here!! I feel blessed every time he rolls over or kicks a little hard lol. So glad you switched doctors goes to show we know our bodies better than anyone else!! Congrats again mama xx

@nikki90xx, thank you so much! Yes, I don’t take for granted one second of this pregnancy. I can see how easy it could be for some who haven’t had trouble to get pregnant, but we are the lucky ones! Congratulations on your BFP whether it takes months or years to get pregnant thinking you can’t bring a precious life into this world is hard.

@lilmama84901013, did you mean to say depression? If so, I’m sorry. My anxiety was really bad around 20 weeks and I found out I was anemic. Since I’ve been taking iron pills I’ve felt much better. Not too many sad days. Whenever I’m feeling down I try to do stuff to make myself feel productive or happy. I know some days it’s hard to find the energy to even do that stuff but don’t be hard on yourself.
