See that cell phone 📱 in her hand?? It’s all she’s ever known!! #AD Imagine growing up like kids nowadays... they’ve ONLY known life with cellphones and modern technology 📱!! Guess what today is!!?? It’s the Anniversary of the very First Cell Phone!! 📱 The first commercial cell phone call was made 35 years ago today. Technology has continued to evolve, it’s pretty incredible!! .

I’ve been sharing all month that I’m celebrating #ChooseCruise with @cliaglobal !!! It’s the perfect time to book a cruise for the holidays or 2019!! That’s right!! And the best part?? Travelers can stay connected while cruising. I think that’s one amazing feature!! If you want - you can be connected!! When I was away recently on my Carnival cruise I stayed connected with my family ❤️.

Crystal Cruises @crystalcruises and Avalon Waterways @avalonwaterways are 2 cruise lines 🚢 that keep you fabulously connected!!

Crystal ships are equipped with a sophisticated telephone system that allows guests to make direct-dial satellite phone calls from their staterooms. Crystal Cruises also affords full use of guest wireless devices while at sea. Travelers can make and receive calls to and from fellow travelers who are on the ship as well as land-based friends and family.

In 2019, the Avalon Waterways' new AvalonGo App helps travelers independently explore each destination throughout their vacation with a detailed, daily schedule of their itinerary, a list of nearby attractions (featuring hours of operation, historical facts and more), maps, directions as well as local cafés, restaurants, bars and entertainment options for further exploration.
