Hello mommas,

I was at my midwife on Thursday and they informed me that my placenta is growing anterior. Has anyone else experienced this and is it difficult to feel baby move with the placenta in that position? I'm dying to feel baby move and I'm just 15 weeks!

@crharmer thank you! I've just had a lot of questions since I left my midwife on Thursday so it's nice to hear that I will still be able to feel movement and I should be able to deliver naturally.

Yes, I've had an anterior placenta with every pregnancy strangely enough. The only thing it affected was feeling movement sooner. It took me until around 20-22 weeks with each to start to feel those little spasm movements.

Congrats and wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

I don't have anterior placenta, it looks we are the same week. However I haven't felt baby kick yet, I think there have been questionable feelings I think are flutters but I'll be patient lol. With my son I felt somewhere between 16/17 weeks I don't remember.
