Ladies with cats! I have a question. I'm moving into a townhouse where the previous owners had cats. It smells kind of like a catbox downstairs (hardwood downstairs, so not like a carpet absorbed the odor), any good suggestions on getting the smell out? I will be airing it out ect, but any other suggestions??? 🤔

I’m going through the same thing and the carpet was covered in cat hair...it’s still pretty bad but we vacuumed it so it’s not as bad as when we just moved in 2 days ago

Research ozone machines. We have one to deodorize our house while we’re gone every once in awhile. Many hotels use them to purify the rooms. It makes it smell like a new house. 🙌

If you do get one, just keep in mind you can’t be in the room when it’s in use and we typically wait an hour after it has stopped running before reentering our home.

The last house i lived in had an awful cat smell in the basement. We diluted bleach and sc4ubbed the floors and it worked really well. My grandma swears white vinegar will take the smell away also but i never tried it lol.
