I was in early labor with my son and they sent me home knowing that I would be back that night 🙄 I hate when they send you home!

@amberdaugherty, It’s disappointing. But I’m only 3cm dilated and 85% affected. Unfortunately in those two hours nothing changed, Although I keep getting these contractions and they got a little stronger. They said if it gets worst or I go in to labor then to just go back

@karennn, I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced with my son and my contractions got stronger and strong until I couldn’t talk or walk I was in a lot of pain on the way to hospital so don’t wait too long because you’ll have to wait for an epidural if you’re getting one, I’d highly recommend you get one because it’s rough and I have a high tolerance for pain and I couldn’t even handle it.

Honestly I think tonight or tomorrow I’ll probably end up back in triage, I didn’t dilate more while I was there but the contractions won’t stop, and I am feeling lower back pains. I came in to work thinking I was fine and I regret it.

@amberdaugherty, Yeah I talked to my boss and she’s letting me take it easy. I am doing a lot of walking back and forth so hopefully that makes me dilate more

@karennn, That’s good I’m glad your boss is letting you take it easy I wish all bosses were like that

@amberdaugherty, She sometimes is not as understanding all the time, Especially when we have employees quitting, but since I told her about the contractions and how they’re still happening she let me take it slow lol
