Going in on Sunday to be induced Monday. Mom’s let me here some of your experiences on being induced... good or bad!!??? I’m really nervous
@lanesevalencia, You’re gonna do great girl! No problem! & you’re probably having small contractions but you’ll know when you’re having the big ones!! Good luck! It’s not bad just incredibly uncomfortable when it’s being inserted! It’s not something I’d want again but if it was necessary then I guess I’ll take it! God I hope so too. I told my husband that in the next 8 weeks I’m about to be doing squats.. cause this baby is coming out naturally this time 😂😂
@inked_mommy92, I’ve been in pre labor for a couple weeks too. I’m about 2cm & 90% thinned. I get period like cramping constantly but I don’t think I’ve gotten a true contraction quite yet. I’ve been 2 cm dilated for like 3 weeks now.. so there has been no improvement there that’s prolly why I’m getting the cervadil. Yeah I can only imagine. I’m gonna be the same way I can already see it now! Lol thank you so much for filling me in with some info it definitely helps to be informed, made me a little more nervous haha but I’ll be okay. I hope you go naturally with your little boy cooperates with ya 😁😁
@lanesevalencia, I was in pre labor so 2 CM dilated and 60% thinned out for about two weeks and I was having consistent contractions 30 minutes apart but it wasn’t enough to do anything so the cervadil definitely did the trick but I’m praying my son comes naturally.. my crotch is killing me already so I don’t think I could handle them pushing anything into my cervix again plus they give you a catheter as well for that two hours cause I mean you gotta pee 🙄 and it was just really uncomfortable. Labor got easier after it was removed but the contractions suck and I had back labor like no other so I couldn’t sit still I had to move but they told me I had to either sit or lay down which only made it worse. I looked like I had ants in my pants 😂😂 and I was cursing and telling them I just need to push. My mom should have recorded if because apparently I was funny 🙄
@inked_mommy92, ohhh god that sounds like bucket loads of fun. I hope she comes naturally before then!!!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
@lanesevalencia, It’s a string with a pill thingy attached to the end. They shove it past the baby all the way to the back of your cervix.. I won’t lie my mom and ex had to hold my legs while the lady inserted it because I about squashed her head with my thighs 😂 that was probably the worst thing other than the contractions at the end cause I couldn’t sit still during the end. I kept standing up and they kept making me sit down so I didn’t push the baby out onto the floor. & nope it stayed in till 7 AM the next morning when my water broke. I had it inserted at 9 PM and at 11 PM I was able to pee but had to be careful I didn’t push it out or they had to start all over. It sat in my cervix all night long and they told me I’d get pitocen at 7 AM if my water didn’t break or I wasn’t progressing enough. Luckily my water broke 🙏🏻 but overall I’d give it a 10/10.... it wasn’t so bad. I didn’t like the cervadil 😂😂 I do not want it again so my son better cooperate cause nobody is shoved nothing up my coochie like that again 🙅🏼♀️
@shay2beautiful, I’m nervous and very sad too, I feel like my body is letting me down. Like why can’t I go naturally is what I keep asking myself. The water breaking I’m okay with because only a small amount of women actually have their water break. I’m just bummed I can’t have the experience of “OMG it’s time” if you know what I mean.
@lanesevalencia I'm kinda sad. I wanted my water to break on it's own but it looks like it isn't going to happen. How are you feeling about it?.
@inked_mommy92, Is the cervadil like a skinny tampon? Does it go totally up there? Sorry I don’t mean to get tmi I’m just nervous!! Is it in there for only two hours? Yeah that does suck you can’t move. Overall experience what would you give it? Lol
I had cervadil which helped dilate me more. It was pretty uncomfortable being put in and I hated I couldn’t move or pee for two hours after it was inserted. My water broke the next morning so pitocin wasn’t needed. I had my daughter 5 hours later.. it definitely speeded everything up.. contractions were pretty intense but didn’t get bad till about 9 CM and that’s when my BP rose but other than that it wasn’t bad. @lanesevalencia,
@shay2beautiful, no don’t be sorry it’s totally okay! Good luck with everything! How are you feeling about being induced?
I was induced with Pitocin. Labor was so fast, 2 hours long. And I didn’t want/need any pain relief until it was too late. My water had broken but I wasn’t contacting enough to dilate. Walking helped. I took my IV poll and did laps around the L&D floor.
