Has anyone had a vaginal birth after a c-section ? Or want to have a vaginal birth after c-section…

I had a successful natural VBAC after csection. I wasn't considered high risk or anything. I was induced because my blood pressure was a little bit high, but I was able to dilate on my own and push. I was in labor for less than 10hrs and she came out in 3 pushes. Definitely better than a csection ❤

I had a successful and very smooth vbac. You can do it girl!

Around me they dont allow vbac I wanted it but couldn't without making a drive for it

I had a vbac. I was SUPER nervous tho bc my previous dr told me I was high risk since my first baby was a preemie and bc of risk of my uterus rupturing. So I had to see a high risk dr the entire time. But my baby was a whole week late 🙄 I had to be induced but I had a healthy baby 😊

@veemndz, wow that sounds like a smooth delivery. 3 pushes ! I definitely hope for this kind of birth this time . did you experience any pain in your scar ? My scar is still painful after 5 years and I take pain medicine for it so I am scared something will go wrong and I will end up having to get a c-section anyway .

@rebecca33, I’m sorry . I don’t think they should be allowed not to allow it if you are able to push . Will you go else where and try to push if you have more kids in future?

@texxie, my doctor also told me that I was high risk because my weight , the fact that I had a revised surgery in my c-section scar and the fact that I still have pain in that area . They also want me to see an high risk doctor but I don’t want to be even more freaked out than I already am . I am glad you had a successful delivery. All of these stories are giving me hope ladies 🤗🤗 .

There was also some uncertainty with me bc my new dr couldn’t tell if my old dr did a classical cut or the standard one. And if they did a classical cut (vertical) then I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do a vbac. But just talk to your drs and assess all of your options. I hope it works out for you!!

@luv_2b_amomma I'm done completely and would be like 2+hr drive to have my kids if I did vbac as our local hospitals dont keep anesthesiologists on call any more so therefore meaning if I did need csection they were not equipped to deal with it last minute..... but I kept asking you know well what if this or that and was told I'd be emergency csection though I was high risk too

@texxie, I go back the 19th . I will make sure to ask about it . I am just so overwhelmed right now . So many things I feel like I should’ve known my first time I didn’t and now I am more aware and older I want to make sure I have all the right answers and know what I am getting myself into this time around .

@rebecca33, oh wow . That really sounds dangerous that they aren’t equipped for an emergency c-section for moms who might have to get one done . And the nearest one is 2 hrs away . My team of doctors are all vaginal doctors so I will see about adding a c-section doctor to my team just Incase things don’t go right . Once she said high risk they made my blood pressure and heart rate go up . I have been on edge ever since.
