I'm a plua size women and I have severe insecurities with my appearance. I have tried working out and dieting... I did the keto diet but didnt see any results so I quit. I cut out all sugars except maybe a can of soda once a week as a reward but I'm still not seeing any results. I have PCOS and weight gain unfortunatly is one of the side effects. My doctor talked to me about taking two pills to help loose weight but in all honesty I'm all for it when I'm done having kids. I would hate to loose weight if these pills work and then get pregnant and gain so much weight again. The pills are not cheap and I have to buy them every month cause my insurance won't cover them (which I totally get and completely understand) so I don't wanna pay for these meds lose weight then get pregnant and feel likr that money could have went on baby items. I am currently trying for another baby as I want my kids all close in age. I'm just so disgusted with my body. I LOVE the stretch marks I got from my pregnancies and that's the only thing I love about my body. :( Just needed to vent for a minute.
@davissummer614, Are you drinking lots of water and eating tons of veggies? That will help also.
@kerryy23 @isabellasmommy15 @mrsskiddish @olivbee. I have been dealing with this for over 2 years and have noticed no difference at all! Its so upsetting. I would go to the gym 4 times a week and do a little of everything when there and then when I was done in the workout room I would go swimming for a good hour (I love to swim) to finish the work out
Do you exercise? And if you do/did what kind of things did you do? Eating right is one important half of weight loss but if you aren’t burning enough calories, you won’t see much of a difference.
There are 3500 calories in one pound, so to lose one pound you need to create a 3500 calorie deficit. Then just multiply that by your weight loss goal and you’ll see what it will take to get you to that goal.
Have you ever tried weight watchers? I have personally had a lot of success on ww. It’s not a quick fix or fad diet. I track my food, attend weekly meetings and weigh in. It has completely changed my relationship with food in a really good way.
I tried absolutely everything that my dr suggested for weight loss and none of it worked so the last resort for me was vsg surgery and it has worked wanders but it takes a lot of dedication it is definitely not an easy way out I have lost 70lbs since getting it. I hope all works out for you
Do you exercise? Cutting out the junk will help but without regular activity it will be harder to shift the weight. Even just a walk round the block with the kids once a day you will start to notice results.
Don't best yourself up it definitely won't happen overnight but with the right mindset and a bit of willpower you can do it! 💪x
I was in the gym 7 days a week basically killing myself and eating perfectly but the weight wouldn’t come off
