Earlier.. Aj got shots & how he has a fever 🤦🏾♀️ his whole body is hot and I’m not sure what to do.. I gave him Tylenol earlier and he threw it up

@mommytobe2k17, it shouldn’t be used under 6 months. Even Tylenol should be used extremely sparingly.
We avoid it as much as possible. My youngest never had it

Thank you i didn't know that 😊 I was always told to use ibuprofen too if needed
Cool bath, skin to skin, light clothing and lots of cuddles
Also alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen every 3 hours if Tylenol itself isn't working along with the cool bath/rag
I agree with cool bath. My daughter is sick and has a fever that seemed to bring down her temp quick
Put him in a cool bath or take a cool wash cloth and wipe him off.
Aw that is so horrible 💔 my son got his shots this morning and he hasn’t been feeling good either

OK that makes sense then. My daughter started having fever issues around 6-7 months with her shots so I guess that's why they told me that. I never knew it had to be a certain age. You learn something new everyday. I'm really glad I know this now. I definitely try to use it as least as possible as well
