You can get him a baby book like “Your baby’s first word will be Dada” by Jimmy Fallon, or google any other baby/dad books, and there’s a whole bunch you can choose from. Also, there are books you can personalize, with the names & pictures that you’d like. It’s real cute & heartfelt. I got my husband the Jimmy Fallon book & it’s precious to him! He loves it!
For any big event I’ve always bought my husband a new watch, something nice. Its not something he buys himself but now each watch represents a chapter in our life: (Wedding day, 30th birthday, 1 for each of our children I gave him at the hospital after they were born, etc) You can always get the back engraved too with the date, or a name, msg etc. then its a practical gift they can use & remember on a daily basis :) 💗
@joyfulmom, yes that’s a cute idea! I was thinking like a pendant with baby’s name but I think that might be too feminine. I agree we’re not together but he’s a good dad I want him to know I appreciate him for being there
@madicam_xoxo, aww yeah i thought I had a picture but I guess I don’t anymore. I seen this lady got a picture frame both sides glass and did the baby’s feet then put glitter for the sex of the baby with the name and pictures around it..
I was trying to think of something like that or another idea as a present for my spouse doing good rn working and keeping his sobriety.. n being involved with his son now positive things for him
