My fiance is from SD, and people thought he was ridiculous to pay $450 for a 2br apartment. Like, $450 was expensive!!! I'm in NJ where rent for our two bedroom was $1750!!

@blessedmommy23 so lucky, wish that was the case, but Illinois is shit lol. Im paying 850$ a month for a small ass 2 bed 1 bath basement apartment. And the good neighborhood I want to move to is anywhere from 1000-1700+ a month for just 2 beds 😣

@nomli $450 a month, sign me up! Haha thing is we aren't broke, nor struggling, but it's going to be hard to accustom a $1000+ rent....I mean they have cheaper ones around here $700 a month but in very bad neighborhoods, with bad schooling

We paid $750/month for a 2 bed apartment in middle of nowhere Illinois. Renting stinks🙁! Hopefully you can find something more affordable soon

Houses around the area were wanting to move to are $900-$1500 a month. Ugh. I wish I could find one for $500. Wouldn't that be lovely.

@lifewithlynnieandwill88 this time we want something a little bigger to fit two kids, so I think ill stretch the budget to 1000-1100 but no more... I mean he makes good money in the summer but winter is a little tough because he has a seasonal job, so he works in a factory in the winter

We own a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom for 700$! Before we moved where we are we lived in a one bedroom apartment for 650$ a month

There's some here for $2000 plus but I don't even look at those lol hopefully we can eventually build our own in a few years. My hubby is a builder amongst other things, electrician, plumber, concrete layer etc so he can do all the work, we just need to save for all the materials etc

@bluepenguin we dont plan on buying one yet, just renting a house for a few years would be nice, or doing a rent to own type deal

@bluepenguin theres a 4 bedroom 3 bath house for rent down here for $1025, we can afford it but we just upgraded to our 2bed 2bath in July so its gunna be awhile till we move again which sucks cause we have been at these apartments for almost 3 years and they really suck ass, the snow kills us at these apartments, our driveway is the steepest driveway in my town & its impossible to get up when its snowing😔😖 not excited lol its gunna be a bitch when i go into labor and theres still snow like last year lol last year the snow stay up until a few days before 2018 summer started😣 definitely cant wait to get outtah this snow🙏😁
