A little rant but would you be upset if a friend of yours asked you to take pictures of their baby at a pumpkin patch (I'm a growing photographer) and then show up 35 minutes late so you only had 10 minutes to snap some pictures. (I had plans but squeezed them in last second to be more convenient for them) Then on top of all that she takes pictures on her phone while I'm taking her son's pictures and posts the ones on her phone on facebook. I can't help but be a little upset about it like if you were going to take pictures with your phone why ask me to do it?

Definitely frustrating!! My biggest pet peeve is when I take pictures for my friends for little to no money and when they post them they use a bunch of filters and make my photos look shitty! Ugh people just have no common sense/courtesy when it comes to our work.

@k_nc omg that would really upset me if they tried to put filters on my pictures. Like I take a lot of time doing my edits to make them perfect and if they went and did that oh I'd be upset. I don't charge much either like 40$ a session. Some people just really don't have any respect or courtesy at all. I did a session a couple days ago and the clients were amazing this time my own friend not so much.

@aylenrose, when I do pictures for people I know vs people I don’t I can always tell that my friends have so much less respect like they just see it as a joke like it’s not something I take seriously. I try to avoid doing them for people that can’t respect me anymore.

@k_nc Yeah the other clients I knew to just not as well as the one today and they paid me, gave me a really great review and shared and tagged me after they got their pictures. The one today didn't offer any money and did what they did. It's like wow. My husband was pretty mad by it to. Here's a picture of my first session with the good clients.
