So my milk came in last night and im having the same problems i did with my first born my son wont latch to my right side because my milk is so full my nipple is barely their and ive been pumping that side while he eats on the other side and im getting about 2 ozs every session but that boob still is engorged how can i help it.
@mrsluciano93 agreed I'm ready to give these back and go back to my itty bitty titty home lol they so heavy 😫😫😫😫😫😫
@turk im not gonna give upbo just produce so much for myy little bitty tittys they cant handle it
@mrsluciano93 I was a little but the warm compress, breastfeeding, and rubbing them has helped. Trust I almost gave up twice already! The pain is so bad but sticking it out. Plus olive oil on ur nipples after a nice hot shower for 5 mins help too I rubbed milk out while in the shower. This is all new to me by no means am I telling u what to do but this is just what is working for me right now. My son was born Tuesday.
Use heat and massage while pumping. Make sure to squeeze your breast like a sandwich or something so the nipple protrudes more for latch
@roth1321 the other one is to big for my sized boobs it dosent have a good grip so it dosent latch.
You might try a different size shield - I noticed that can cause me to not be able to pump much out.
@thevloggymommy yeah imma try that i know hot compresses help think imma take a hot shower later
@mrsluciano93, hmm, continue to pump after taking a 10 minute break. Continue to do so pump for 10 break for 10 until your boob is empty.
Hand expression, cold compresses, and time made mine feel better.
