How do I get my baby to understand to pull her pants down to sit on potty . Where at the point where she can go sit on her own and pee and poop but she’s usually bottom less so it’s nothing . Every time she has pants on shes goes and just sits and of course pees in her pants while sitting . I keep showing her to pull her pants down but she doesn’t get it yet . Guess we just have to work on that part just as much as making sure she’s sits on the potty when she has to go . I know since she’s only 1 it’s amazing all on its own that she can sit her own self down to pee and poop on her own but I really don’t want her pants less all day .

Buy training underwear. It is easy to pull on and off- that's how my son learned how to pull his pants down to pee and poop when he was 18 months old.

@faithhopelove, she has pull-ups . But she hasn’t really worn them yet she’s always bottom less in the house . Unless we have company but then she’s not use to pulling something down so she sits and pees on herself . I guess I’ll just have to add pull-ups to her training so she can learn to pull them down .

@prestonjeanetta0120, I've always heard no pull ups. We didn't use pull ups. At Walmart they have "training underwear" it's just thickly padded underwear and they don't have tight elastic at the top so they're easy to pull down

@faithhopelove, oh okay I will try them then . Because she doesn’t wear anything much all day she bottom less unless it’s nap time then or we have to go out she’s in pull ups other than that nothing . So she has a lot of diapers and a full bag of pull-ups . If I can’t find training pants I’ll try undies and see if she can pull them down easy .
