I have taken progesterone suppositories before. They may have similar side effects to the natural progesterone produced by the body (frequent urination, sleeping difficulties, sore breast, nausea, etc); with some people they also cause feelings of anxiety and heart palpitations. The latter are NOT caused by the natural progesterone produced by the human body.

So I believe that’s something you have to talk to your doctor about. I know a couple women had low PG and they could only get on it once they got pregnant. So I’m not super sure, but talk to your doctor!
