Sawyer will only latch on to my right breast. What can I do to get him to go on my left?!

Put him on that side first when he is the most hungry.

@steviemariemalm, are you engorged on that side? My son favored one side and it was because I was engorged on the side he didn’t feed from. I always offered that one first and after hand expressing the milk out so I wasn’t so engorged he latched right away.

Try a different position maybe? I had to cradle hold on one side then Football on the other.

@bubbys.mommy Alot of the time I am because he isn't latching on. Will he not get good flow if I am? That's probably a dumb question. You'd think after 2 boys I would know LOL.

@steviemariemalm, no he’s probably not latching on because he can’t fit your boob in his mouth and it frustrates him because he gets latched a little and tastes milk and he’s hungry and then he can’t stay latched and gets pissed off so when you do his preferred boob and he’s happy you just don’t switch. That’s exactly what happened to me so when I hand expressed the milk out into a spoon I’d give it to him that way and then once I wasn’t so engorged he was able to latch

@steviemariemalm, so once you are not engorged, offer that side first every time and he shouldn’t favor anymore.
