So I need opinions.
Should I just buy a big car seat that is rear and front facing for the new baby, or get a infant car seat first?
With Tinley I got the infant car seat and stroller combo, but I hardly ever used her stroller.
So I’m thinking of just getting a big car seat for the new baby, and just get a carrier for when we go somewhere.

I like the infant seat so I don’t have to run the risk of waking the baby when getting out of the car.

Really just a personal preference. If you do decide to start straight with a convertible seat, make sure you get a good one with a lot of recline options. Like the britax or chicco ones. So many convertible seats don’t have a good recline angle and a newborns head would be really slumped.

@brittanystewart304 For my family we did convertibles from the start but it was to save money. 😄 I think it just depends on how you live your life and needs at that time.

I personally love the infant car seats first so baby can stay sleeping and I just think they fit better and it’s easier on you moving baby in and out all the time

We did the Chicco Nextfits and then transfer 2 of them to a double stroller and then wear 1. We still do it like this today! @mombie. With the new baby, I just ordered a double carrier so we will carry 2 and stroll 2! 🤣
