Breastfeeding rocks....I lost all my pregnancy weight and then some by 2 weeks postpartum. Now someone tell me how I get rid of the weird pouch area? Is it a new forever resident?

Ab workouts just have to tighten the skin back up

@monkeymomma2 so I can make it go back? It's like the love handle lower belly area.

@heilwife317 it's definitely hard but yes definitely possible

You are only 2 weeks pp! Give it time, its very possible for it to go back to normal but if not after a couple months then maybe some workouts.

@jmedina will do. We are 3 weeks tomorrow so I knew it's early was just curious. I'm not doing anything more than walking until I get cleared at my 6 week follow up anyway. :)

I was like that with my first son, back to normal after two weeks just needed a little tone up. Not so lucky with my other two lol

Look up diastasis safe core exercises. Start slow- jumping into ab exercises too quickly can actually hinder progress and make you look like you have even more of a pouch, especially traditional ones like crunches. Generally they suggest waiting until your doctors post delivery check up- try to make sure they check you for ab separation as well just to make sure. Pelvic bridges are a great start.

@sarahbethk awesome thank you! Yeah I definitely won't until after my 6 week pp check. I had my 2 week pp appointment and seems like I will be ready then. :)
