@jaquelinerachelle me either. I think it was just an expectation with a the pregnancy talk. I know people who only lost weight and were still able to do it. I gained 20 and nope! Thankfully and super excitedly by less than 2 weeks postpartum I lost all the weight. :) so I guess I will accept that over the table.

@jaquelinerachelle breast feed if you can! I had literally done nothing except eat sleep change diapers and breastfeed and lost the weight. Now that he is a little colicky I do walks with him in a ring sling each day for about 30 minutes plus walking him all over the house for a couple hours each night, that's it.

@heilwife317 oh yeah i plan on breastfeeding. I already have a breast pump and everything.

@jaquelinerachelle perfect! Also get a haakaa! That is my new life lesson. My boob leaks so much from the opposite one he is feeding I can get an additional 2 to 3 oz just from leakage. And the haakaa is self suctioning and just chills there. I started pumping early because I am trying to have an over supply to build up for him plus my OB asked if I would donate to the NICU here so I am working on that but make sure you don't pump too early to cause that if you don't want. BUT know everyone's breast adventure is different I was told not to pump until much later but my husband and I wanted him to be able to soothe baby too and to give a bottle once at night so I can sleep and he feels bonded too. So we started early with pediatrician and OB both on board. So do what's right for you even if people oppose it. Your baby will do great with you being comfortable with what you are doing. :)

@jaquelinerachelle yeah I fed into the nipple confusion hype and had many nights of crying myself because I didn't want to give him a paci due to nipple confusion but he wanted to be latched (not eating) just tiny sucking to self soothe. It was exhausting and upsetting. Finally the pediatrician told me to give it to him that the likelihood of nipple confusion was so low not to worry. We did and omgosh did life get better faster! Now we paci, bottle, and breast without an issue starting at 2.5 weeks old.
