Going to my moms today and letting my two week old drink my pumped milk from a bottle. It is an hour car ride from my house to hers. Can I transport my frozen milk to my moms in a cooler, then put it in her freezer when I get there (and store not used milk back in my freezer when i get home), or would it go bad and have to stay in the fridge and get thrown out if not used?

You cannot refreeze once all ice crystals are gone. A cooler to freezer should be fine.

Don’t waste it though! Milk baths are always an option. Store some in 2oz bags for a bit. You can always combine when he starts to take more. I always stored in 3-4 oz bags after that.
You’re brave leaving a 2 w old, I never could that young. I still have a hard time. Make sure you pump when baby should be eating and that she pace feeds in order to preserve the breastfeeding relationship.

@laniejay, thanks so much!! i’m still getting adjusted to all of this. I have a few nights out planned within the next couple of weeks and won’t be able to pump during it (like a concert) so idk what i’ll do! and i’m just going to be gone for a few hours today so i’m not too nervous 😊
