Are you getting the flu shot?

I'm not til my obgyn appointment

Probably not this year. I have gotten it every year for the last 6 years and I always get the flu. Never had it before I got the flu shot, and never had a flu shot as a kid.

Nah. I never get it.

Is it frowned upon by your dr if you don't?

I heard there was new strands of flu this year and a shortage. So I went and got mine.

@mhbb3, when I was pregnant, my OB didn’t. He suggested it, but ultimately told me that it was my decision to get it or not to get it.

I always do. 😇 it’s not as much about your health as it is about others. If you catch and spread it, that only makes it stronger.

Without one, you can get way sicker than with it.

It doesn’t prevent getting the flu, it just helps your immune fight it better.

The flu gets tougher each year and the shot boosts your immune to getting it.

Better safe than sorry.
