I wasnt going to, but was bullied into it by my grandma and childs Dr. The first day when we got home, she screamed for almost 2 hours when she woke up. Yesterday she wouldnt walk. She barely moved from the spot I put her in all day. Last night she woke up crying/whining probably 30 times. This morning she is still crying and won't walk. So i wouldnt recommend. I only gave my son a flu shot once at 1, he got extremely ill that winter. Hasn't since.
I haven’t given any of my kids the flu shot and they’ve all been fine! We don’t give it because when my stepdaughter was a baby (age 1) she got one and that very night began having seizures... her doctor said she was probably the one in a few that ever got that side effect from the shot! But, it scares me so that’s why we don’t give it to our kids...
I did but I regretted it after. I saw that the shot she was given didn’t actually protect her from the flu strains that were going around so I didn’t see a point?
I won’t get the flu shot for any of my kids until they are at least 2. My daughter is 3 now and I still am dragging my feet about getting it for her. I fully vaccinate, but something about the flu shot bothers me. I don’t even get it myself.
We haven’t ever done the flu shot and the only one time any of my kids got the flu was my oldest girl in February and it came from the father daughter dance after girls were told by the dr they couldn’t go because they had the flu and they went anyways
For whats best for my family, we get the flu shot because my kids seem to get sick easily. Our youngest is a heart warrior so we do wgat we can to prevent him from getting sick.
I say just think about whats best for your family and go from there.
We do, even if they can’t predict what strain will be prominent that year it’s better than not at all. Especially after how bad it was last year even if we come down with it this year it won’t be as bad 🤷🏻♀️

We did because my son was in daycare. He had the flu before he was old enough to get the flu shot and it was horrifying.
