It’s a test for Americans for natural disasters or threats that will be sent out like amber alerts , that’s why it stated it was just a test, Amber Alerts get sent from the same system that sent us the alert we got today , they put it in play when bush was president cause of hurricane Katrina .

I got the text😒 im scared now!!! I open it because i though it was a Amber alert

@noenahiza, yeah! It’s scary! I got it too I just was at work so I glanced and disregarded it. I got a new phone last night so today when I went to transfer my stuff the text was erased

Have you ever gotten an amber alert to you’re phone ? If so it’s the same thing. Just with state/nation alerts

Really, well it’s a good thing we have this in place now just makes us more aware with what is going on .
