Hey mom with babies. I am doing cloth diapers and making my own detergent. Its saves tons of money, good for the environment and baby’s health. I have a link on how to do your own detergent (even if you don’t have babies), super cheap, super easy to make and really good with clothes. Hope this helps. Finally, farm house on boone has tons of recipes on baby food. One more, (lol) I found with my daughter (225 month old 😝)that it was easy to talk to her in sign language when words were to hard to say, like pain, scare, etc. I added a video if y’all like to do the same.

Making your own “detergent” is bad for your diapers. It’s not a real detergent and won’t clean them well. I wish it worked or else I would totally be doing it lol it sucks even for clothes

@anap1012, have you made yours? I been using this recipe for about 5 years now. I wash my husband clothes and he works with oil. I also work at a hospital and it works wonders. The cloth diapers do not have a smell after and no poop either. However, I forgot to mention I use a Mexican soap called “ zote” not the one on the recipe and I add tea tree oil.

@seanvna, ohh zote does wonders! I haven’t used that soap in years lol no I’ve never actually made it but I looked up recipes on how to do it. Then once I started looking into cloth diapers I realized how diy detergents don’t work well especially in HE machines

@anap1012, mm? Maybe the one I make is really good. Try so many detergents and it works fine with my laundry. But I don’t buy detergents because they are tested in animal and we don’t buy products like that. There is one sam’s club use to have really good but can’t find it anymore. 😩
