If you’re lucky enough to be in a situation where childcare is not needed, then that’s fantastic! Unfortunately, lots of women still need to maintain full time jobs and don’t have friends/family available to watch their kids, so daycare is the only option. I work at my daughters’ daycare as a Preschool teacher and honestly, she has a blast. I quit my 9-5 office job to become a teacher there because I had anxiety about leaving her with other people all day, but still needed a way to bring in a paycheck. This way, I get to see her whenever I have a break and I am always right down the hall. Plus, she learns so much from all the older babies and they have cute projects they do with the kids that I get to take home ☺️
@girlymama. Seems like everyone is having or has kids these days maybe if u had a family or friend that recommend a good place to take her somewhere u might feel better about it 🤷 I mean if u absolutely had to idk
@kailgurl19xx, most of the employees dont have to have an education in early childhood or development so, in my opinion.... I won’t leave her in daycare if I don’t absolutely have to.
Sometimes its not a option for many people, they send there kids becuase they have no other choice. I have been lucky my kids havent been to a daycare but if in one moment i have to send them than i will but i will also make sure i send them to a good daycare.
@girlymama. Honestly should we as mother's be so ready to just jump in and leave them with strangers? I mean at the end of the day that's what the employees are and I'm too protective and willing to do the most for mine 🙅🤷
@angelfoodcake I know that's what's so sad...no parent should have to worry about their children when they drop them off at daycare but I was asking who isn't going to put them in daycare
@amomandherbug that's awesome I'm gald u could and were willing to do that for her! It's so unfortunate we have to worry about these things as parents 🤦
When I was pregnant I originally planned on going back to work but once she was born, it all changed for me... I don’t trust anyone with our daughter, only my mom or sister. I am very fortunate to be able to stay home with her. I tried going back to work, now that she’s 1, but I just couldn’t. I just don’t trust daycares, nannies, or anyone really.
Against or don't participate in daycare/fortunate enough not too... I think a lot of people would willing choice "not too" but often circumstances don't permit.
