Mommies I have a question is it ok for your 2 year old toddler to hit his mommy even if she’s doing nothing wrong

No its not okay, my son wanted to start doing that i would tell him it's wrong.

Not okay to hit mom. Is he getting enough positive attention? Try to prevent it by figuring out why he does it. My son, although a baby, bites me and I sternly say “no biting mama” and will put him down and ignore him until he changes his mood, which is pretty quick. Your son is old enough to have a sit out (time out) time or whatever you use to discipline him.

Both my boys have tried but I always grabbed their hand and looked them in their eyes and said “no hitting, that’s not nice” they have all tried again you just have to let them know that’s not ok. They haven’t tried again. They all do it I think at a young age.

It’s never okay. Not okay to his mom dad or anybody. I grab my sons hand and tell him NO. We don’t hit that not nice. That hurt mommy” and I put him down. He cries but I’m not going to console him for crying because he hit me. Sometimes I’ll put him down and he cries and gives me a hug on my leg and then yeah I will give it a few seconds and kneel down and give him a hug and tell him “ thank you baby that made mommy feel better I love you” he bites us too(only us who live in my house. Me, daddy, uncle, grandma and grandpa. Daddy doesn’t live with us but he still bites him) it doesn’t hurt what so ever but he puts teeth on us and I don’t tolerate biting what so ever so we do what we do for that but it’s the same process.
