It's normal, my son does it mainly when laying down.

Yes, my boys went through this, I'm not too sure if all babies do but they still don't know how to deal with saliva (swallow or spit it out).you can try the bulb to suction any saliva out throughout the day to help but it just pretty much have to run it's course.

Its happened with children of mine as well
