Sitting here watching my pumpkin sleep and he will go from making these little laugh noises and smiling to whimpering and looking like he’s going to cry. I wonder what he is dreaming of, probably going back to the days he got to eat steak and spaghetti all the time then he remembers he only gets breastmilk now🤣

Their hiving. Its reflexes exercising their facial muscles for facial expressions. Basically practicing them.

@lincolnsmommy18 I know I loved when my baby would do that and now he actually will smile I was so happy when he started really smiling.
