Who thinks it's ok to leave a baby with thrush until they are 6 months of age ? Who has done this ? Anyone ?

Uh... thrush is extremely painful and can block the airway after traveling down the throat, if it gets thick enough when left untreated...

I would get a second opinion if your doctor is telling you that

@fakoffyeh yes it is and he said her liver will get damaged from the med yet how about all her organs that are now full of bacteria ?

@fakoffyeh exactly and what kind of mother will I be to leave my baby get bacteria all over her body because some stupid doctor said to leave her what about him putting that in writing and then if anything happens to my baby I can show him responsible for it.......

@verguinia, I’d seriously get another opinion. Thrush is a fungus, not a bacterial infection. If it’s left untreated it won’t get better and can, over a long period of time, turn to invasive candidiasis which is when the yeast gets into other areas of the body like the blood stream, heart, brain, eyes, etc. It isn’t common but it’s not worth the risk. Go to a different doctor.

@haleypsutton yes very true I'm so mad at my doctor and boyfriend for wanting to leave it alone it's not ok to me
