I feel like a lot women already have friends from before children, and they all had kids around the same time, so they stay within their group. Not me! My friends kids are at least three years older. I had hoped by going to groups and mommy-and-me classes that I'd find friends, but hasn't happened.
@nomli, I get that! I have no friends in NJ though... all my family and friends are in Utah.. but those friends had kids right out of high school so they are years older than my kids..
That's tough. I have one friend who has kids around my son's age, but they live almost an hour and a half away, so getting together is tough, especially with her older kid's school schedules.
