I seriously didn't want one, I told everyone not to throw me one. My SIL threw me one and I was pissed off i wanted to walk out. Still fucking hate they did that.

Personally I think I think they are a one time thing.... I'm not having one for my second. We have a tons of stuff already no need for more. Maybe a brunch with friends with no obligation of gifts but something so small. No big circus like the first ....

Nope. I canceled mine and don’t regret it. It was becoming too expensive and stressful to plan. My job did end up surprising me and throwing me one though.

Maybe just do a very small one, nothing fancy? Just a get together to celebrate the new addition coming soon? I had a friend who was in a complete funk, hated pregnancy and ended up regretting not having one. Not for gifts but for memories and photos to show. It wouldn’t be bad not to have one though.
