Sorry for your loss. I didn’t personally go through it but my mom went through it I lost my dad when I was 9. My mom said she didn’t have time to cry and be depressed she had to pull herself up by the boot straps and take care of me. I’m sure she mourned and cried in private but in front of me she never cried and tried to keep me happy and distracted.
