Does anyone know how long until you can use tampons after a c section?

Still have to wait 6 weeks. Or until doctor clears you

I thought it was the same as a vaginal birth. Wait until your doc says it’s ok at your 6 week

@beyond_beautifulx3 its HORRIBLE. I hate pads with a passion but it's better to wait than risk an infection.

You still have a wound where your placenta was, regardless of how you birth your child. 6 weeks minimum for everyone!

I hated pads too but i didnt use tampons until i had my 3rd period cause i had a stock of pads 😂 no way was i gonna waste those

I don't think you're supposed to use pads for what is expelled after child birth. Aren't you supposed to wait for a true period to use tampons?
