When I have contractions there's a lightning pain down my spine. Is this back labor or caused from when I had a c section? They had a tremendous amount of trouble sticking me in my back and it starts from that spot up to my neck.

Realistically I would say back labor. That is one of the main symptoms. That said idk how your history with your back could effect it. I would think unless you have had continued back spasms since your c section that the c section sticking shouldn't have any correlation anyway.

@heilwife317 I have had excruciating back spasms since my c section! If it's back labor then I know what to be prepared for now

@serrano_girl well if you've had it regularly since, that's probably it...but if you have that now, I would assume you will feel that during labor too. I'm sorry!!

I got severe pain where my epidural was 7 years ago! They stuck me 4 times before getting the needle in and it wasn't in right. Caused me isolated nerve point damage! I felt that area radiate pain while in labor with my second child! Never again!
