Any military moms or wives or anyone who doesn’t live in their hometown get lonely during pregnancy? My husband has a few friends whose wives are pregnant too but I don’t really hit it off with them and some of my other friends who don’t have babies yet aren’t really there as much as possible. I’m lucky because I have my mom and my husband but it’s such an exciting time and I just wish I had more friends to share it with or that my friends were more excited.

I was in the same position when I was pregnant with my 1st. It was tough and I really did feel all alone, but towards my second trimester when I started getting my energy back I really started focusing on myself and the baby and started feeling more positive. I signed up for a prenatal yoga class and met some women there and I began preparing for my baby by reading, buying things, and decorating her nursery. It helped me feel less alone and also helped pass the time until my husband came home.
