My daughter is watching “The Wizard Of Oz” and my friend said you better show her “The Wiz” (basically the black version) and I AM NOT THAT MOM 🗣🗣. Just like when I get dolls of course I get some that she can look at and see herself such as Moana etc.. but I will turn around and get her a Caucasian doll too. My daughter won’t be small minded because... we are ALL the same 🤷🏽♀️ my daughter is biracial and I’ll expose her to every race I can and let her know you love everyone for who they are beneath the surface.
I despise small minded people who build prejudice habits within innocent children 😒

My daughters first doll looks like was biracial or something like its not a dark doll but not white either somewhere between lol when someone said something about it I looked at them said it's just a doll nothing wrong with it besides shell encounter people of all race

I love this!! ❤️❤️ your daughter is lucky to have you. This is exactly how it should be. I am the same way with my son and as my daughter gets older she will be taught the same.

I agree with you 100 percent! I don’t want my children to shut themselves off from other cultures. My girls are into American Girl dolls and Our Generation dolls and I buy them a mix of different races. I like that at their school there is so much diversity. My grandmother grew up through segregation and my parents were born close to the end of it but still I was never taught to be prejudice or racist. I’m glad I have the mindset that I do and am open to learning about other cultures besides my own and I teach my kids the same way. Being prejudice and racist is taught and I stand firm on that. If you don’t believe me put two young kids together of a different race and they will play together and won’t think twice about it. It’s when adults start to put things in their head where they begin to start thinking negative of others. So glad you posted this. Thank you.

By the way I’m not saying your friend is prejudice or racist by any means. I slightly got a little off topic but I just think the same way you do. My kids aren’t even biracial but I just want them to open up to others and not just people that look like them. Okay I’m done, lol!
