My biggest fear about having a baby is having to get a c section, so big ups to the mommies who had to have one!
@prettyv1014, omg really, my labors weren’t hella bad it was like temporary pain my 2nd child I had no pain at all I thought the c section pain last longer that’s why I was scared
@mrs.mccoy, honestly I rather take the pain after then going through it as in the laying in bed , getting strapped, feeling the incision etc etc , make me so scared and I get bad anxiety 😭 all I can do is pray pray pray at the time and ask god to hold me , it’s a very scary and nasty feeling
@murphaayyyy, another girl said her recovery wasn’t that bad either because she was active, I’m going to have to keep that in mind if I ever need one
I have had 2 and had a seamless recovery with at least the first one ( the second was a little tougher, but not too much worse). It all depends on the person, but I was up and moving all around the next day, and had little use for the pain meds
I’ve had 2 c-sections and yes both were traumatic, but not the end of the world. I try to focus on the miracles in my life, not how they were brought into the world. Yes it’s been hard to accept that my body doesn’t work properly and I couldn’t push my babies out, but at least I carried both full term and they both came out very healthy 😊
@artsmommy, 10 pounds 😳 you guys are actually calming my fears of a c section
I had to have one since he was a 10lb baby! I was so scared and having panic attacks but all went well didn’t feel anything and the recovery wasn’t bad at all for me.. except I had a nasty hemorrhoid after but that’s not from c section it happens to anyone after birth in general. Good luck!
@mrs.mccoy I mean I'm sure it can be I've heard horror stories but I think to every labor there is horror stories I mean my natural labor was horrible and C-section went great it really just depends on your body and how you take care of your body and I don't know literally I was sore but I wasn't in pain and I feel like I healed so quick
@gingiej1207, omg your lucky! I always here how painful it is afterwards. Baby was stubborn huh lol
@roses702, omg 😮 see it’s so many scary things or some many things that can go wrong with having a child
@lii94, I would have cried too! Lol I probably would have passed out as soon as they told I would have to have one
I had the biggest fear did whatever i could not to have one well my labor didn't work 4 daus of nothing water broke and everything I was dilating so slow they had to help me and still wasn't dilating she wasn't dropping so I finally after the 4th day did the C-section and I had such a quick painless recovery without pain pills it was great
I’ve had two and the second was so much easier. And honestly, only lasts for about a week. And that’s only cuz of the incision 🤷🏽♀️ after that, it’s smooth sailing
