Does anyone have a child that is bipolar? If so what were the early signs. I'm thinking my almost 5yr old might be but not bringing it up to drs yet but he is in counseling

Five is so young for a mental health diagnosis. Ive bern diagnosed but did not experience symptoms until my late teens. I'd look into all other avenues before going in this direction.

@mhbb3 I said I was not bringing it up to drs yet that he is in counseling though... was asking for other parents ones with bipolar children the early signs so I can get better idea of what I am dealing with if it is bipolar or what... ik its early but better to know and watch than to let it go and be clueless...

@mhbb3 well obviously I realize hes young yet but when you deal with things that are not normal for a child you begin to think of different possibilities... and if some things are dangerous then you worry for well being of all children involved
