The doctor told me it was fluid in the baby’s kidneys... So I have to go back and get another…

@honeyxxbee, Not yet! I’d love to find out soon. I’ll be about 15/16 weeks when I go get the next ultrasound.. and my mom has the same issue when she was pregnant with me and she had to get an amniocentesis.

@honeyxxbee, To be honest I’m not sure. My mother asked all the questions because she was familiar with what was going on and they both said something about “amniocentesis”. They didn’t give any other option.

Hopefully they decide to do other testing first before. There’s lots of risks with amniocentesis, and it’s more of a last resort.

@spookylyn, that’s what I told my mother. I don’t want to take a chance of losing my baby. It’s not that serious to me.. if the baby has something wrong I’ll love him/her the same... as long as my baby is healthy I don’t care.

@spookylyn, Can you explain to me what a Trisomy is? Is the baby at risk for something?.. I’m sorry I just wanna know these things just in case..

Girl my doctor told me the same this and I was terrified for weeks up on weeks they say one kidney is a little larger that the other my last ultrasound I went to I was 25 weeks I think but my mom is a nurse and she said don’t worry about it our babies are fine and I have two more ultra left and now I do my ultrasound at the hospital so they let me know what’s up if anything and normally we have until the baby is born to check the kidneys to be exact just keep God in your prayers your baby will be fine so will mine

@honeyxxbee, so I am having i boy I new it my doctor told me the same thing when I was 25 weeks pregnant they so I have an appointment at 34 weeks to check it again then another at 39 weeks
