Have any of you had the cat pee in one spot constantly??? I managed for her not to for the past few…

Thats not sanitary and even cleaning cat boxes while pregnant is risky you should talk to your ob

PP It’s not the urine that’s carries risks it’s poop.

And op it definitely sounds stress related. I’d try added a new litter box you should have one per cat.

How often do you clean the cat pan? And are any of your other 2 cats Males?

@mamachey @walkmavs_mom My dad does the catboxes once in the morning and once at night and in between I don't touch them

Put a litter box where shes having accidents, make a way for her to get away from the other cats, can she still climb? There is a spray tjat has enzymes that deter marking in the same spot. Anxiety medication, do something about the bullying

@mhbb3 It's in my kitchen in front of my sink. She can still climb yes, We have 2 level floors and I've tried one of the sprays hasn't done any good yet.. It happens at night when we are all trying to sleep.

@laurentimm3264, i have a female and a male and both are fixed but at our old house she was peeing other places because i wasn’t home a lot to clean the litter box and since we’ve been at our new house for two months i clean it out every other day and she hasn’t peed anywhere in the house.. females usually don’t like the smell of the males pee 😐

Regardless of the cleaning being risky it still needs to be done every once in a while I made sure to keep the windows open and fans on. Back in the old days people would use cleaning supplies and such and everything is fine with them I'm not going to just not clean just because I'm pregnant but I don't do the litter boxes...

@walkmavs_mom I don't know what her problem is she has been around fixed boy cats all her life. She was born outside and was placed in a cage in a veterinarian hospital as a kitten so she's always been skittish never had a problem with her peeing outside the box up until a month and a half ago 🙄

Get her something tall she can perch on tp get away from the other cats. I saw it on that tv show with Jackson Galaxy, my cat from hell. One cat was getting bullied and hiding and peeing but once there were places to go it stopped

@laurentimm3264, our cat was peeing on everything. Finally it came down to me cleaning the litter twice a day, before and after work and she never peed outside the box again. A lot of female cats a)don’t like dirty litter and b)like very deep litter.

You should have one box for every cat plus one (for one cat, two boxes, for two cats, 3 boxes etc) because of this. Their instinct is to not go pee where other animals have peed because that’s someone else’s territory. Cats are super particular so it’s just a matter of trying everything you can.

Oh and if she’s peeing on the floor in one spot, put down a pee pad. Less clean up for you.

@laurentimm3264, I mean at this point it’s a habit for her and that’s where she’s comfortable. But washing the floor and putting a pad down will get the scent out of the floor and keep it clean so she doesn’t keep marking the same spot.
