@fakoffyeh, she is in a 5 point harness and will be until they are maxed out in weight. This has been put away until they need it

@fakoffyeh, I have twins and need 4 seats so spreading the cost is the only practical way when they are £140 each! They are 4 in Feb and 16.2kg each (our harnesses max out at 18kg) so won’t be expired buy the time we get to use them

I am so confused what car seats kids need. My little one is 14 months old and is to big for the first car seat. If I go to Mothercare or John Lewis do they explain Or is it something I need to research first . Xx

@natalie2255, it depends on a lot of things. Most second stage car seats are harnessed to 18kg but you get some that are harnessed to 25kg (good if you have a high centile baby as they will max weight before hitting the age limit) some you get that go all the way until 12 years. It’s worth looking into what’s compatible with you Car and have a look instore to see what you like etc as it’s a real minefield x

Yeah you can buy extending rear face seats now. The law in the UK is now rear face until 15 months..

@kerryy23, it’s only law to rear face for 15 months in an isize car seat which is height based. Weight based car seats don’t come under this so you can forward face at 9 Months if over 9kg x

I have my little one in a forward facing cuggl it’s £50 in Argos and you can rear face it until 10kg and then turn it and forward face it tilts so if little one still naps in the car it’s good for that xx

Sophia definitely out weighs a harness she’s over the 25kg. She’s in a joie one with the seat belt that had a harness and goes to a booster seat. Just has to adjust the head up as she looked and felt squashed 😂 we joke that she’s the hulks daughter 😂😂

I have this seat in purple for my 5 year old, I love it. She only reached 18kg just after her 5th birthday xx
