@princessvictoria, that’s a good idea! But you could always do a diaper and gift card shower. Including the diapers kind of takes away from the gift card/cash only option. The cash part just doesn’t sound right- to me at least. I know if I was invited to one, I’d prob bring a small pack of diapers and a decent sized gift card, depending on my relationship to the person; I’d definitely take the hint!

@amysbabies Thank u my friends want to make a babyshower since i didnt have any except with my 1st one so i told them maybe they can do gift cards or cash .. but i feel wierd asking lol

Well I found out both times, but it’s really easy finding cute gender neutral items. I would get all the basics in neutral, but then set aside some money to do some online shopping in the hospital when you are up to it! Also, if you have a β€œwelcome baby” shower a week or so (or when you are comfortable) after baby’s birth, I’m sure you will get lots of gender specific items. Even if you don’t do that- when people visit for the first time, they probably won’t be able to resist bringing an outfit or two (especially if a girl).
