So confused. I have pregnancy symptoms but keep getting negative tests. I am getting a blood test done next Wednesday. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Me. I got 3 negatives at home. Got a urine test done & it was also negative. I was due for period on the 4th but never came down. Didn't come down on the 5th either so I took a test that same day & it came it out positive.

@j.concepcion my period wont be for another two weeks but with my youngest I was able to find out really early that I was pregnant with a home pregnancy test so I am confused.

@bitchcraft lol i only think i am because my period was way lighter than normal and I've had symptoms except throwing up. I know its not due to stress. We also were not planning on having another one right now. I am still breastfeeding so we were thinking if it had something to due with me slowing down since my LO is past 1 and eating more.

If your period isn’t due for two weeks, you’d just be getting pregnant now *if* you were to get pregnant. There isn’t a test out there that can detect that much before you’re missed period, not even hospital tests.

@laniejay for my first baby my period was light and only three days. Took a test 4 weeks later because I didn't know it was a sign but with my second baby my period was very light and only three days too. I took a test two weeks after and it was positive.

Then it was likely you experienced bleeding early on in your pregnancy, not that you detected pregnancy two weeks before your missed period.
Hannah Harding-Duran·
@laniejay i was told it was implantation bleeding.

@mommyof.3, so then you rested well after your cycle, not two weeks before.
Hannah Harding-Duran·
@laniejay okay that makes sense.

It also depends how long your cycle is. If you consistently have a longer cycle, 30+ days, then you very well could ovulate on day 12, get a positive at 10dpo, and still be about a week and a half away from your period being due.

@mommytok my cycles are usually around the same day every month. 28-30 day cycles i think.

@mommyof.3, lol then never mind my comment then
