@mommie2be26th, that’s not correct your not suppose to take any medicine over the counter cause of their fear of narcotics exposure and adverse reactions with the baby immune system your only allow to do natural cures such as tea with no caffeine if doctor does not say it’s ok don’t drink it and FYI it says on the list that you need to discuss this with doctor and what works for everybody else may be dangerous for you and baby so I would call a doctor if not feeling well before using over the counters med
@mama.kay, yeah it is love I have three kids one is a teen aged if you do not believe ask your dr what will happen if you take something during pregnancy and have a adverse reaction
@crissie22, I mean I did. That’s where I got my list of most of the medicines in the first place, before I found that one on Pinterest. But those otc medicines are safe unless otherwise told by the doctor. But taking Tylenol, Benadryl etc. during pregnancy doesn’t cause spontaneous adverse reactions unless they did before you got pregnant. But that’s a very safe list, my doctor gave me a list almost exactly like that one in the beginning but I don’t have it anymore. To each their own, every mom is different and that’s okay. But it’s completely safe to take otc medicine that’s safe for pregnancy. Like having a cold, headache, constipation is all bad enough during pregnancy.. I couldn’t imagine not being allowed to take anything to relieve symptoms 😣😣
I mean I’m not saying don’t I said she should always check with her doctor cause what’s safe before pregnancy can be dangerous during and what allergies you had post pregnancy you could very well have during so to each it’s own and genetics is key before considering anything not told by doctor

My doctor gave me this list. Over the counter options are just fine unless your doctor says otherwise. Feel better soon! 😊
