Proud auntie moment ... my twin nieces will be 16 in April. My sister raised them a single mother and these amazing young girls make me so proud!! They joined the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps(JROTC) in their high school last year while having AP classes and two other after school programs all because they want to get into college through a scholarship because they know our family can’t afford it and they don’t want to get buried in financial aid like we did.. so the push themselves so hard just to do well and help.. I love them so much and am so proud my daughter and son will have them to look up to!
